About Creative Joy Studio
Creative Joy Studio was established on 18 October 2003. It is a purposed built building designed with the help from Auckland renown architect, Ron Sang. Its vision is to grow into a year round creative hub that will collaborate with art tutors to design creative courses and activities for our local community; young or old.
The facilities of this studio includes a gallery, library, a painting room (Teaching Room 1) and a former ceramic studio now serve as a lecture room. (Teaching Room 2) and a drying room for oil paintings.
CJS has a special ensuite room that is used for visiting international artists who have participated in previous artist in residence programme. CJS hopes to invite more international artists, photographers and musicians to be part of its growing activities. If you are interested in teaching, visiting or participating in any of this studio's activities, please do get in touch for more details and information.
